For our character ed assembly tomorrow, we would love to see all the Goodfellow Gators dressed in holiday colours - red and green, white, Christmas sweaters, holiday hats, etc... Let's see your holiday spirit Goodfellow!
In keeping with our Goodfellow tradition, we will begin our Annual Holiday Food and Toy Drive to help those in need on Monday, December 1st! Once again, Goodfellow Public School has challenged all classes to collect non-perishable food items and unwrapped toys. Collected items will be donated to the Innisfil Food Bank. The greatest needs are FOOD ITEMS!!! Most needed are canned food items (meats, fish, pork and beans, stew, vegetables, etc.) and other boxed food items (macaroni and cheese, pasta, cereal, dry soups etc.). We are also collecting unwrapped toys, new books and gift cards. Please do not send items in glass jars due to their breakability. Goodfellow has such great energy and we want to use it to help our community. Go Gators!
All toys and gift cards must be in to the school by Friday, December 12th at 10:00 as pick up is later that day!! Thank you so much for your support! We would also like to start a tradition for each family to send in a hat, pair of mittens, and/or neck warmer (these are safer than a scarf) in lieu of a gift for the teacher at Christmas. Please send these items by December 12th as well, and we will donate all the items to needy families / students.
Donations will be accepted at the Sweater Weather Get together on December 6th. School dances will take place on Friday, December 19th! Admission to the dance is a non-perishable food item. The generosity of Goodfellow families is greatly appreciated. THANK YOU for making the difference in the life of a family in need!
